WHAT IS THE ANNEX ACADEMY?
The Annex Academy is where mbitious
marketers start their journey. Over the course of
a year, you’ll receive in-depth training across
every channel and discipline, combining theory with real client experience.
As part of the programme, you’ll gain recognised certifications with Google, Microsoft, Pinterest, and Meta, while also studying towards Level 3 or4 Marketing qualifications. This is the first step on your road to becoming a Chartered Marketer, the gold standard of professionalism in our industry.

As part of your apprenticeship, you will also complete weekly online training in preparation for your CIM exams.

CHARTERED MARKETER
Chartered Marketer is the highest level of recognition from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM). It demonstrates not only technical expertise but also commitment to continuous professional development and ethical practice.
Foundation (Levels 3-4): Core marketing principles and first professional qualifications.
Intermediate (Level 6): Advanced understanding of strategy, planning, and execution.
Postgraduate (Level 7): Specialist mastery and leadership.
Chartered Marketer: Professional recognition for marketers who consistently apply knowledge, skills, and judgement to the highest standard.

OUR PURPOSE
At Annex Media, we believe opportunity shouldn’t depend on who you already know or how many years you’ve spent in the industry. Too often, marketing roles are recycled among the same pool of people, shutting out new voices and ideas. We’re changing that. Instead of demanding experience that few can access, we create it, offering genuine, hands-on learning through The Annex Academy. This initiative opens the door for ambitious graduates and career-changers alike, providing a clear, supported route into digital marketing.

ROUND 1
Applying to our academy is simple! We look for raw talent first and foremost, so while previous experience is great, it is not essential. All we need from you is a CV and a cover letter. You can email this to us at admin@annexmedia.co.uk.
TIPS
We sift through hundreds of CVs, so make sure yours stands out from the crowd! Show us that you’ve done your research into the company and tell us why you would be the perfect fit for our academy. We are suckers for a beautifully worded, creatively presented CV and cover letter (and we can sniff AI responses a mile off!) We want applicants with a passion for paid media and a genuine drive to succeed.
ROUND 2
If our hiring team think you could be a good fit, they will get in touch and invite you for a group interview (5-10 applicants per interview) where you will partake in a group discussion and a 40-minute maths and English exam.
